We have used digital x-rays in our office since we first opened in 1998. We made the choice to go completely digital for several reasons. Digital x-rays offer a 90% reduction in radiation exposure to our patients. Taking x-rays has never been safer.

Digital x-rays also allow us to save you time. With less time spent processing and mounting x-rays we are able to focus on the important things like diagnosing problems our patients may be having. Not only does it save us time in processing your x-rays, but many times we use x-rays during our procedures to check our progress. Procedures such as root canals are performed in much less time and with significant reduction in radiation.

In addition to our digital x-rays we use for routine checkup x-rays, we also use the digital panoramic machine. This machine allows us to obtain clear, detailed images of wisdom teeth, cysts, pathology and jaw joints…to name a few!

We remain committed to being on the forefront of dental x-ray image technology and acquisition. Using digital images over the past decade has allowed us to improve our patient care in a remarkable way.

In the future we look forward to obtaining CAT Scan digital images in our offices – an x-ray image we use when we are placing dental implants or correcting TMJ and changing the bite in Full Mouth Reconstructions. Currently we refer our patients to Clear Scan Digital Imaging Center in Phoenix or Payson Regional Medical Center in Payson, Arizona for their CAT Scans.
